Shooi, what a crazy 2weeks it has been!
Finally we moved into our new home and havent needed any time to adjust. We all really just fitted in so well, proof that we are meant to be there. After a long day of moving furniture and unpacking we still had an argument with old landlord and seller but all has worked out for the best. Shannon absolutely loves the new house and her new room (still need to sort out her play room but she doesnt seem 2 concerned about that yet).
Monday 3rd was Shannon's tonsillectomy. The surgery went well and my little angel coped awesomely. She was in a lot of pain when she came out and still said "Why did he do this to me?" So cute but my heart was bleeding for her, if i could have taken her pain away I would have. I was trying so hard to comfort her but got "Mommy, you are bugging me". This coming from my 4 year old! I know she was just out of it from the anesthetic and pain, still very cute though. After a few hours of sleep and a few nibbles of a toasted cheese sandwich we were allowed to go home.
Aunty flow arrived yesterday :( Been expecting her but didnt expect she would bring so much damn pain with her too. Four months is long time to store up all those cramps and now they are finally able to be released, it feels like my insides want to fall out! And all though it has been 4 months since I last saw aunty flo and I am really happy that she came to visit, I wish she would just leave now.
And finally, Shannon started her new school today. Been talking about it for the last few days trying to get her mind used to the idea of going to a new school and it worked, I dropped her off this morning and although she was a little clingy she never cried. My little girl is getting so big! I keep asking her to stop growing but she always says "No, I must grow mommy"
What would I do without her? She is my life and wouldnt have it any other way!
